Gaggle is a web-based application that provides cutting-edge, 21st century tools. There is nothing hosted on your school or district servers or network, but you will need to have current hardware and software in your schools in order to effectively utilize Gaggle. Although we strive to make our system as backward-compatible as possible, older computers simply cannot handle most Web 2.0 technologies.

• Both PC’s and Macs can run Gaggle, but for optimal performance, you should be running at least Windows XP or Mac OS X.
• Gaggle is optimized for Internet Explorer 8 and higher or Mozilla Firefox 3.5 and higher.
• Internet bandwidth and connectivity will affect any web-based services, including Gaggle. If your building has limited bandwidth or speed, Gaggle performance will be affected.
• Many of Gaggle’s tools use Java or Flash plug-ins that are part of your browser, so these should be current.
